We at Harustudio love nothing more than to create beautiful, evocative images of your special day for you, your family and your friends. We believe photography is more than just pretty pictures; they are your memories brought to life, treasures that last lifetimes.

We shoot a mix of traditional and photojournalistic styles, staying in the background to capture the special moments that happen, naturally. Sometimes though, life just needs a little bit of spice and a little bit of fun, so from poignant moments between family and friends to beautiful portraits of you and the bridal party, we'll capture it all.

As wedding photographers (and a married couple ourselves!) we've seen many couples plan their wedding and we know it can get pretty complicated. And choosing a photographer for a wedding can be tough with all the different options and prices. So we like to make things simple. We have three simple packages with pricing that starts at $1390 for two photographers, anywhere in Sydney. All our packages include a DVD of all your images, all of which have been lovingly treated and brushed to look its best. Details of our packages are listed below.

We want you to have the perfect wedding day, and we are here to help. We can get you in touch with suppliers we know and have worked with, and we can offer advice on timing and the schedule of the day. Before the wedding we'll work with you to develop a list of things you want us to cover, and where possible we'll scout the location and prepare our plan for the day.

On the day we're punctual, polite, professional and fun! Couples and guests we've worked with tell us that they love our enthusiasm, and we like the keep the atmosphere light and fun. Being a husband and wife team means brides can be comfortable with Iku photographing their preparation while John is with the boys getting ready, and we can balance being unobtrusive to catch those lovely moments as they happen, and being available to take snapshots of you and your guests during the day.

After your special day we know you can't wait to see your photos and we work overtime to get your images ready, usually within a week. We put a web gallery in a special password protected section of our website that you and your guests can access, and from there you can start choosing the photos that go into your book. We can provide images for thank you cards, or to email to friends and family that couldn't make it to the day -- any thing you need, just let us know!

beautiful books for everyone

We like to do things a little differently, so we don't offer traditional wedding albums that sit on the shelf for years and years untouched. Instead we focus on producing beautiful prints and photo books that you can't take your eyes from. Why books instead of albums? Because we believe in sharing photography, and what better way to do that than with your own beautiful, custom made book? You can take it to work, to lunch with a friend, send a copy to family that couldn't make it to the day, make a big one for yourself and smaller ones as gifts for guests... the possibilities are endless!

We offer books in two sizes, a small 7in x 7in which is perfect to take out, and a large 12in x 12in which sits beautifully on your coffee table. The first copy of each book covers the design and printing of each book; each copy after that is half price to cover just the cost of the printing. That discount applies even with seperate orders -- once the design is done you can reprint at half price as many copies as you like.
